A nonlocal elastic beam model is developed to investigate the small scale effects on the large-amplitude vibration analysis of embedded multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) at an elevated temperature. The nested slender nanotubes are coupled with each other through the van der Waals (vdW) interlayer interaction. The curvature-dependent vdW force employed incorporates not only pairwise nearest-neighbor but also nonneighbor interactions between nested nanotubes. The incremental harmonic balance method is adopted to analytically solve the nonlinear equations that are governed by the vibrations of nested nanotubes. The influences of small scale parameter, geometrical parameters, temperature rise, and the elastic medium are fully examined.  相似文献

In this paper, a model to calculate the dark current of quantum well infrared photodetectors at high-temperature regime is presented. The model is derived from a positive-definite quantum probability-flux and considers thermionic emission and thermally-assisted tunnelling as mechanisms of dark current generation. Its main input data are the wave functions obtained by time-independent Schrodinger equation and it does not require empirical parameters related to the transport of carriers. By means of this model, the dark current of quantum well infrared photodetectors at high-temperature regime is investigated with respect to the temperature, the barrier width, the applied electric field and the position of the first excited state. The theoretical results are compared with experimental data obtained from lattice-matched InAlAs/InGaAs, InGaAsP/InP on InP substrate and AlGaAs/GaAs structures with rectangular wells and symmetric barriers, whose absorption peak wavelengths range from MWIR to VLWIR. The corresponding results are in a good agreement with experimental data at different temperatures and at a wide range of applied electric field.  相似文献

In order to construct a class of new Turaev-braided group category with nontrivial associativity, the concept of a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebras was recently introduced. Inside the definition, the conditions of invertibility of the R-matrix R and bijectivity of the antipode S are required. In this article, we prove that the antipode of a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebra without the assumptions about invertibility of the antipode and R-matrix is inner, and a fortiori, bijective. As an application, we prove that for a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebra, two conditions mentioned above are unnecessary.  相似文献

We design a quantized sampled-data controller for synchronization of delayed chaotic Lur’e systems. A new approach, extended Wirtinger-inequality-based Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, is firstly proposed. This approach grasps more sampling information by introducing more free matrices in comparison with some existing methods. Using the system information at the dynamic partitioning point, a zero equality is formulated to fully utilize the inner sampling information. Based on the new approach and zero equality, some novel synchronization criteria are established. In the meantime, the desired quantized sampled-data control gain is obtained with larger sampling period than those in the existing works. This paper studies the problems of stick-slip mitigation and speed tuning for a lumped-parameter drill-string system by using a proportional-derivative feedback controller via path-following analysis. In this study, we consider two main control parameters, the weight-on-bit and the desired drill-bit speed. In particular, we determine the combinations of these two parameters for which the proposed control scheme is applicable, which is affected by the non-smooth nature of the system induced by bit-rock interaction. Our analysis using path-following techniques for non-smooth systems reveals the inherent coexistence of stick-slip vibration and constant rotation, and identifies a critical point where the drill-bit speed coincides with the desired angular speed. Furthermore, our analysis proposes a strategy that allows controlling the drill-bit speed to suppress stick-slip, by tuning the controller in a suitable manner.  相似文献

In this article, we prove some strong and weak convergence theorems for quasi-nonexpansive multivalued mappings in Banach spaces. The iterative process used is independent of Ishikawa iterative process and converges faster. Some examples are provided to validate our results.
